Ticks and fleas: how to protect your dog?

With the return of warm weather, ticks and fleas also return... and they are rarely invited.

These parasites can cause itching, allergies, and transmit certain diseases. After every walk in the forest, tall grass, or countryside, take a few minutes to inspect your dog's coat.

There are several methods of protection: spot-on treatments, tablets, antiparasitic collars, or sprays. Your veterinarian can advise you on the most suitable solution for your companion and your region.

A few minutes of prevention are often better than a long session spent searching for a tick hidden deep in the fur... especially if your dog decides it's the perfect time to play hide-and-seek!
