Healthy aging for dogs

Unfortunately, our dogs don't stay puppies forever. One day, the one who used to bounce everywhere starts to think before jumping on the sofa. And sometimes, they even decide that napping is now a high-level sport.
Aging is a natural stage that requires some adjustments. A senior dog often needs a calmer pace, but that doesn't mean you should stop walks. Regular physical activity remains essential to maintain their mobility and well-being.
Nutrition also plays an important role. Kibble or a diet adapted for older dogs can help maintain an optimal weight and support joints.
Veterinary check-ups become more frequent to quickly detect any potential health problems. Particular attention should be paid to vision, hearing, teeth, and joints.
Also, provide them with a comfortable bed and outings adapted to their abilities. Many older dogs continue to enjoy walks, even if their cruising speed is more like a leisurely stroll than a sprint.
Aging is inevitable. Aging comfortably, however, requires preparation.
